Here's how to report your lost Macy's Store Card online:

Yes, the Macy's Store Card will do a hard pull. You will need a credit score of 640+ to get it. This means that the Macy's Store Card requires fair credit, which is on par with what most store cards require.
Keep in mind, though, that your credit score isn't the only thing the issuer takes into account while considering your application. Various other factors like your credit history, income and debts will also determine the outcome.
You cannot qualify for a Macy's Store card pre-approval.
You can, however, get approved within minutes if you apply online or at a Macy's store.
Keep in mind, though, that applying for a credit card will most likely result in a hard inquiry on your credit, lowering your score for a short period of time.
Macy's store card limits range from $500 to $2,500. In general, credit card limits vary, based on three main factors: your credit score, your income and your current credit utilization ratio.
You cannot get a Macy's Store card with a recent bankruptcy. You will be able to get it after your bankruptcy is discharged and you have at least fair credit.

I first got this card back in 2013 and have been extremely careful with it, using it every couple of months, and paying it off when I do. I have an excellent credit score (near 800), and have no late payments on any credit card, no delinquencies, no bankruptcies – nothing. And now, TWICE, they have closed my account without any notice whatsoever (I found out from a credit alert on my credit monitoring service). They said that a credit bureau said there was a pending bankruptcy, which is NOT true. I double checked all 3 credit bureaus to make sure my identity wasn’t compromised, and there was nothing negative whatsoever on any of them. The first time, it took a phone call where I got transferred about 3 times to get it fixed, after finding it was an error on their part. When it happened AGAIN this past weekend, I called and literally, got transferred 7 (yes, SEVEN, SERIOUSLY!!!) TIMES, before they finally sent me back to the very first number I had called, without any success. So, I am DONE. With their HORRIBLE customer service and these panic-inducing circumstances, especially when I work so hard for this NOT to happen, it is SO not worth the hassle and frustration to have this card. No wonder they are losing business! They lost yet another great customer today. I will shop at ANY other store before I go into a Macy’s, again!

$2 monthly charge on $0 balance. No thank you. I am sure if I hadn't caught this and canceled the card there would have been late fees. I just wanted to make one post regarding Macy's stupid policy.

I paid off my bill in full over 2 months ago and closed my account but still continue to get $2/month charge on a zero balance for a closed account. DON’T EVER GET A MACY’S CREDIT CARD!!! They or the bank that they use are very shady.

I signed up for the card because I wanted to get the 20% "sign-up" bonus in the store during my purchase. The dress was $20 after I received the discount and I handed the cashier my debit card and paid with my checking account (or so I thought). I didn't know you could pay with the new credit card without actually receiving it in the mail first and I handed her my checking card. I was in college at the time and I put my home address as the billing address because I wasn't planning on using the card. Fast forward two months there was a bill in the mail that I never received because I had returned to school and I incurred 40 dollars worth of late fees and was 30 days delinquent on my credit score. I disputed this immediately and they have no interested in removing it out of good faith since I had literally just signed up and it was an honest mistake. It has been 5 out of the seven years now and it is still messing up my credit score. I will never sign up for a store credit card ever again. If I could give less than one star I would.

one of the worst cards you could ever get, I had my card with them for more than 2 years, never missed a payment, and all of the sudden they cut my limit down to 500$ from 3500$ originally, called them and got that BS answers about credit report factors and reviews, no willingness to rectify the situation, cold attitude from customer service, I have been and still platinum customer since I do a lot of purchase using that card, think no more now!, please don't waste your time and credit points with this card

If you think about saving for shopping @ Macy's. I never received my card or a bill. After 90 days had passed I get a note on my credit score that they have reported me. This is RIGHT when I am trying to get a place for my girlfriend and I to live together! I get denied the place based on the 90 day late report from Macys. I contact them and pay the whole thing off (original purchase was a $30 pair of pants but I paid over $100). I asked if they wwould remove the report to my credit score and they refused. NEVER get a MMacy\'s card!!!
