Since Williams Sonoma Inc transitioned their credit card program to Capital One the card benefits have greatly improved. Especially the new 12 Months Zero Percent Interest option. It’s no longer the deferred interest model. You have 12 months of zero percent and on month 13 if there is anything left that’s when you pay an Apr charge. The Capital One app is easy to use. And you can use your west elm card at Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma now as well!

Beware of west elm Credit Card. No interest in the first 12 months but what they don’t tell you is that on the 11th month if you haven’t paid up they add one whole year's interest to the amount that’s still outstanding. Go with your own credit card where you know there are no trick interest costs

That is no longer the case now that they are with Capital One. Capital One has a 12 Months Zero Percent plan. On month 13 if there is a balance left over - you will pay an APR rate on whatever the remaining balance is.

Rewards "dollars" are not really worth a dollar. They are worth 10 cents. That means that their "10%" back is actually just 1% back, *in store credit, which has a fast expiration date*. You are better off making a purchase with any normal credit card that offers 1%+ in real money back.

Rewards are 10%... For every 250 points you earn $25 - that's definetly 10% not 1%. Rewards expire after 180 days.... That's not that fast. I've seen worse with other store cards.

Never received any welcome credits. Additionally, I made a big purchase, paid it off in a couple of weeks so that I can use my card again for another big purchase, got a confirmation email two days!!! later stating payment went through and then three weeks later (when tried using my card again, and it declined) found out that payment actually did not go through!! Beware!! NOT ONE single person contacted me saying that payment did not get through, they waited until I was late, hit me with a late payment fee and claimed that it was MY BANK that returned the payment!!! Well, after that I paid it off again using that same bank information and for some strange reason this time it wasn't, payment wasn't returned. I ended up closing the card. Not worth my time.

Reward dollars are really hard to use. It took me days ro figure out. And BEWARE! They do that trick placing your last payment date of the financed amount 1 week before the due date. My financing due was 13th, card due was 19. My eyes did not differentiate as everthing was in autopay and i was hit with a finance charge of 200 dollars. If i knew, i would make the purchase with my own credit card and pay much less interest. Never trust these cards and finish your payments in 11 months because thats what they mean when they mean 12 month financing.

Never received my $50 Sign Up reward. They said it is mailed on with first statement which I never received. They said oh well, there is nothing they can do about it. Would not reissue a new reward certificate. Awful customer service!!

They never actually send you your rewards. I spent 2.5 hours being transferred between the credit card company and west elm, speaking with 5 different people (including a superviser) who eventually gave me a false email address to contact regarding my 100$ rewards that never came. They have the policy of “oh well, if it’s lost or stolen there’s nothing we can do about it”. I will not only be canceling my credit card but I will never be shopping at west elm again and I’ll alert all friends with this credit card of their disgusting actions.

You can't set up autopay which is crazy. The rules with the rewards dollars and when they hit is extremely confusing, it is very clear they don't want you to be able to use them. Does not mesh well with a premium brand.

I have NEVER experienced more terrible customer service in my life. I would love to write all the stories, but I am SO drained and have just spend an hour disputing issues with my West Elm card that I can\'t dedicate even more time to it. If you think you\'ll actually be able to use rewards certificates... YOU WILL NOT! I have made West Elm purchases online THREE times now with West Elm gift certificates. Each time, the rewards certificate isn\'t reflected on my credit card statement and I am charge the full amount. I have disputed this THREE times with digital proof of rewards certificates and me applying the certificate at checkout, and each time, West Elm has decided to still charge me full price! They have now told me if I want to dispute it further, I have to do it in writing. If this has happened to me this many times, it\'s definitely happening to everyone else. The problem is, if you use a valid rewards certificate and the item doesn\'t ship right away, you are screwed. West Elm items are ALWAYS backordered or ship late, so there\'s a 90% chance your item will ship in the following month and your rewards certificate will then be invalid. I kid you not, West Elm is the most terrible credit card I have ever opened. DO NOT USE!!! SAVE YOURSELF! I so wish I had never opened it and used my other credit card and actually gotten rewards from it.
