This card is a great starter card to start building credit..My credit score has greatly improved and I've even been approved for other credit cards that I never thought I'd get approved for with a high credit limit. I recommend this card for ppl with bad credit or no credit..

Don't like that they charge annual fees on top of being secured. But anything I can do to help my credit score, then I'm willing to use it
You can make OpenSky payments by signing up for Auto-Pay through your online account or via the OpenSky mobile app, both on iOS and Android devices. Just select the "Payment Services" tab and from the drop-down menu you have the option to set up one-time or recurring online payments by linking your bank account to your OpenSky. You can also make payments by mail or calling OpenSky customer service at (800) 859-6412.
Here's how to make an OpenSky payment:
Online: Log in to your online account and select the "Payment Services" tab. From the drop-down menu, you'll have the option to link a bank account and set up recurring or one-time payments.
By phone: Simply call (800) 859-6412 and make a payment through the automated system. Payments made through the automated phone system are free, but if you choose to make a payment through a customer service agent, there will be a $10 fee.
Mail: Send a check along with the remittance slip that is included in your monthly billing statement to the following address: OpenSky Card Services P.O. Box 660924 Dallas, TX 75266-0924
The OpenSky Visa Card is safe. It offers the same $0 liability guarantee as any other credit card. In other words, if unauthorized purchases are made on your account, you won't have to pay for them.
It is worth noting that OpenSky currently doesn't come with an embedded computer chip. But that shouldn't be too big of a concern. Traditional magnetic stripe credit cards are plenty secure, especially with the backing of $0 liability protection. You can learn more about why that's the case here.
At the end of the day, even if other cards may be slightly more secure, that concern does not outweigh the importance of getting approved for a credit card and beginning to add positive information to your credit reports each month. So if you have very damaged credit and can't get approved for a cheaper secured card, OpenSky is a solid choice.
You can check your OpenSky application status online. You'll need to provide the last four digits of your Social Security Number and you date of birth, so that the issuer can match you to your application. It should only take a few minutes to find out whether your application is approved, denied, or pending.
How to Check Your OpenSky Application Status Online:
Give your date of birth and the 4 last digits of your Social Security Number.
View your OpenSky application status: approved, denied, or pending.
Typically, you'll receive the decision on your application within 24-48 hours. Many applicants are approved much sooner than that. If you haven't heard back within a reasonable time frame, you can always call customer service to ask about the delay.
You can pay your monthly bill electronically, by check or money order. There are more options for funding your security deposit, however: debit card, check, money order or wire transfer. Hope this helps.
