The Chase Ink bonus categories for rewards include office supplies, travel, and purchases at gas stations and restaurants, depending on the Chase Ink card. All three Ink Business cards also give an initial bonus for spending a certain amount in the first few months.
Here are the Chase Ink bonus categories and more:
The Ink Cash card offers 5% cash back on the first $25,000 spent per year in combined purchases at office supply stores and on internet, cable and phone services; 2% cash back on the first $25,000 spent per year at gas stations and restaurants combined; and 1% back on all other purchases. Plus, you can earn $750 for spending $6,000 in the first 3 months.
The card’s annual fee is $0 and it requires at least good credit for approval.
With the Chase Ink Business Unlimited card you can earn 1.5% cash back on all purchases. Plus, this card offers $750 for spending $6,000 in the first 3 months.
The Chase Ink Business Unlimited comes with a $0 annual fee. Keep in mind that you need at least good credit to get approved for this card.
The Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card offers 3 points per $1 on the first $150,000 spent per year on travel and select business expenses, and 1 point per $1 on all other purchases. Plus, with this card you get 100,000 points for spending $8,000 in the first 3 months.
The card’s annual fee is $95 and it requires at least good credit for approval.
What to do in case your spending habits have changed:
- If your spending habits have changed since you first applied for a Chase Ink card, you may have the option to switch to another Chase Ink card that matches your current financial situation.
- For example, if you got the Chase Ink Preferred card but then decide you’d rather have the spending categories or no annual fee offered by one of the other cards, you can contact Chase customer service. They can switch you to the card of your choice. You also have the option to switch back if you choose.
- Not all Ink Business cardholders are eligible for a product change. Your card typically has to be open for at least 12 months.
- To find out if you are eligible, you can either call Chase customer service or send them a secure message through your online account.
Ultimately, keep in mind that you cannot make a product change from an Ink Business card to a non-Chase business card or from an Ink Business card to a Chase personal credit card.
