Introductory 0% APR
Wells Fargo Active Cash offers an introductory APR of 0% for 12 months from account opening on purchases and 0% for 12 months from account opening on qualifying balance transfers. These are very long introductory periods for a card that also offers rewards. The regular APR of 18.74%, 24.74%, or 28.74% Variable will apply after the intro period ends, and there is also a balance transfer fee of 3% intro for 120 days from account opening, then up to 5% (min $5).

Cell Phone Protection
If you pay your monthly cell phone bill with Wells Fargo Active Cash, you will receive free insurance for your phone. This covers lost and stolen phones, as well as damage to phones that affects their functioning. Damages like cracked screens or scratches that don’t impact your ability to use the phone are not covered.

- What’s covered: Lost or stolen phones, plus damage that makes the phone unusable.
- Coverage amount: Up to $600 per claim, but not more than the cost to repair or replace the phone if it’s below $600.

- Requirements for coverage: Pay your cell phone bill with your card. If you do not pay with your card one month, coverage expires the first day of the following calendar month.

Auto Rental Collision Damage Waiver
If you rent a car using Wells Fargo Active Cash or by redeeming your rewards, you will receive insurance against collision damage and theft. To receive this coverage, you must decline any insurance that the rental agency offers you.

- What’s covered: Damage from collisions, vandalism or natural disasters, plus theft, for rentals lasting no more than 15 consecutive days in the U.S. and 31 consecutive days abroad. Also reimburses the cost of towing to the nearest facility, loss of use, and additional taxes or fees.
- Coverage amount: Up to $50,000 per rental, but no more than the value of the car or the cost to repair any damage.
- Requirements for coverage: Pay for the rental car with your card or your rewards. Decline any insurance that the rental car agency offers you.
- How to file a claim: Call 1-800-316-8051 or visit the claims website within 60 days of the incident or “as soon as reasonably possible.”

My Wells Fargo Deals
You can get access to personalized deals with certain merchants through your online account. These deals will give you a certain amount of cash back with the merchant if you make a purchase with them using your card.
In order to receive your cash back, you must first activate each deal before its stated expiration date by going to “My Wells Fargo Deals” in your online account.

Visa Signature Concierge
The Visa Signature concierge is a benefit provided to cardholders directly by Visa, and it’s essentially a 24/7 free personal assistant. The concierge can help you do things like:
- Make restaurant reservations
- Book travel
- Select and buy gifts
- Purchase items or tickets the moment they go on sale
- Gifts and floral arrangement delivery
- Other unique lifestyle requests
Using the Visa Signature concierge is free, but you are responsible for any purchases you authorize them to charge to your card. To contact the concierge, you can call 1-800-953-7392 any time.

Visa Signature Luxury Hotel Collection
The Visa Signature Luxury Hotel Collection is a benefit provided directly by Visa. It gives you special perks at select hotels. These perks include automatic room upgrades when available, free Wi-Fi, complimentary breakfast, credits for food and beverages, VIP guest status, late checkout and more.
The Luxury Hotel Collection includes more than 900 hotels around the world, including brands like Park Hyatt, Peninsula and Shangri-La. To receive your benefits, book your stay using your card through the Luxury Hotel Collection website or the Visa Signature concierge.

Roadside Dispatch
If you have car trouble, your card gives you access to 24/7 roadside assistance. While you do need to pay for the services you use, you do not need to pay any sort of annual membership fee or do anything to enroll in the service.
What Roadside Assistance Includes
- Standard towing, up to 5 miles
- Tire changes (as long as you have your own spare tire)
- Jump starting
- Lockout service
- Delivery of up to 5 gallons of fuel
- Standard winching

Emergency Card Replacement and Cash Disbursement
If your card gets lost or stolen while you are traveling, you can call 1-800-397-9010 24/7 to get a new card delivered to you within one to three business days.
Alternatively, you can use this service to get emergency cash delivered to you within the same timeframe of one to three business days. However, we don’t recommend doing this unless you absolutely must, as cash advance fees and interest will apply. If you do get emergency cash, it’s best to pay it back as quickly as possible.

Zero Liability Protection
You will not be held liable for any fraudulent purchases made with your Wells Fargo Active Cash Card, as long as you report them to Wells Fargo.
While this is a feature that is present on all major credit cards, it’s one that’s extremely important. Having $0 fraud liability helps make using a credit card much more attractive and secure than other payment methods.

Credit Close-Up is a benefit available to Wells Fargo cardholders that gives you free information on your credit, including:
