Jared credit cards can only be used at Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry’s 274 stores, located in 41 states.
The Jared Credit Card is managed by two separate banks: Comenity Bank and Genesis Financial Services. That’s because Genesis Financial Services recently bought $1.7 billion in nonprime credit accounts from Signet Jeweler, the parent company of Jared, Kay, and Zales. Even so, there’s just one Jared Credit Card.
Here’s where you can use the Jared Credit Card:
- 274 Jared jewelry stores in 41 states
California: 19 locations
Florida: 22 locations
Texas: 29 locations
The Jared Credit Card offers 12-18 months financing with a 20% down payment on purchases of $1,000+. There’s also 36-month financing on purchases of at least $3,000 – 48 months if you spend $5,000+. APRs vary and depend on creditworthiness. But it’s possible to get 0% financing with deferred interest, or a reduced rate like 10.99%.
Cardholders also get free jewelry cleaning and inspection. Plus, you’ll receive special offers on your birthday and account anniversary. Your account must be in good standing to be eligible.
The Jared Card’s regular APR ranges from 17% to 26.99% and varies by state. There’s no annual fee. You can check for Jared Credit Card prequalification online to get an idea of your approval odds.
But just because you’re planning a purchase at Jared does not mean a Jared Credit Card is the best way to save. There are lots of really good 0% credit cards available right now, including U.S. Bank Visa Platinum (0% for 20 months), Citi Simplicity (0% for 18 months), and Amex EveryDay (0% for 15 months). You do need good or excellent credit to qualify, though.
If you have bad credit, consider the Credit One Bank Platinum Visa. It has a $0 - $99 annual fee based on creditworthiness and doesn’t require a security deposit. The regular APR is 19.74% to 25.74%. Any of these cards could help you bypass the down payment often required with in-store financing.
