How to Get 5X Points on Chase Travel
- Log in to your Chase Sapphire Preferred account on the Chase website or mobile app.
- Select Chase Sapphire Preferred from your account overview.
- Select the "Redeem" link next to your rewards balance to access the portal.
- Choose your preferred category: flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises, or activities.
- Enter your trip details, including your destination, travel dates, number of travelers, and other relevant information.
- Apply filters to narrow your results by price, airline, hotel ratings, and other preferences.
- Select from the filtered results and proceed to checkout.
- Complete the booking by paying for your trip with your Chase Sapphire Preferred card. You’ll also have the option to use your Chase Sapphire Preferred Ultimate Rewards points to pay for some or all of your booking.
Bear in mind that Chase Sapphire Preferred comes with a $50 annual hotel credit for stays booked through Chase Travel. You won’t receive 5X points on hotel purchases made through the portal until the $50 credit is exhausted.
