One of the best shoe store credit cards is the Famous Footwear® Credit Card because it offers $10 off your first purchase and 1 point per $1 spent on Famous Footwear purchases. The Famous Footwear® Credit Card lets you shop in any of 800+ Famous Footwear stores, at Famous.com or in the Famous Footwear app.
While Famous Footwear may offer one of the few shoe store-specific credit cards on the market, many major retailers with extensive shoe departments have their own co-branded cards. Those include Kohl’s, Macy’s, Nordstrom, Target, and JCPenney, among others.

Some of these cards belong to card networks that allow you to use them outside of the affiliated stores. But those cards require at least good credit for approval.

You could get up to 5% back with Citi Custom Cash or the Amazon Prime Visa and you’ve got every retailer covered. Store cards can’t compete.

Amazon credit cards are another option. I buy most of my shoes there and save 5%.
