Yes, Wells Fargo does have an American Express credit card, the Wells Fargo Propel American Express card. The Wells Fargo Propel Amex has a $0 annual fee and offers 20,000 points to new cardholders who spend $1,000 within 3 months of opening an account. Propel also gives 3 points / $1 spent in several bonus categories, including dining, travel, gas and streaming services. All other purchases get 1 point / $1 spent.
The Wells Fargo Propel American Express card also provides an introductory APR offer of 0% for 12 months on new purchases and 0% for 12 months on qualifying balance transfers. And, the Propel Amex has a 0% foreign transaction fee, which is a valuable perk when traveling outside of the U.S. Be aware, though, that American Express credit cards are not as widely accepted abroad as Mastercard and Visa cards.
Wells Fargo’s other American Express cards are the Propel 365 and Propel World cards; however, neither is currently accepting new applications.
