Does Wells Fargo have American Express cards?

Several banks and credit unions offer American Express credit cards, including the U.S. Bank, USAA, Navy Federal and American Express itself, among others. However, third-party-issued Amex cards aren’t all that common because American Express is both a card issuer and a card network.

You can no longer get Wells Fargo Propel pre-approval. The card is not available for new applicants at the moment.

In the past, people could get pre-approved through an offer in the mail. Or, existing Wells Fargo customers could check for pre-approved offers at a participating local branch. A pre-approved offer didn’t automatically mean you were approved for the card. It simply meant Wells Fargo thought your odds of approval for the Propel card were high based on a soft inquiry into your credit history. To respond to a Wells Fargo Propel pre-approved mail offer, you could either mail the completed application back to Wells Fargo or visit the Wells Fargo credit card page and click “Respond to an Offer.” You needed to enter the invitation code included in the pre-approved offer letter. If approved, you should have received your Propel card within 7-10 business days after approval. Wells Fargo does not offer expedited shipping for new credit cards.

The Wells Fargo Propel credit score requirement was at least 700. This means good credit or better was required for approval. However, the Wells Fargo Propel is no longer available to new applicants.
