This card is diabolically bad. As a small business owner, I opened this account several months ago for myself and my employees. After several months, a recurring charge was declined. I called Capital One and was told they had put a freeze on all spending, for all cards, notwithstanding the account was in good standing and payment wasn't due for two weeks. The customer service rep said I needed to download the app to use the adjustment tool to figure out how much to pay to get the account, but when I tried, the app was broken. It's impossible to run a business with this uncertainty and declined charges - I will be getting rid of this card pronto. Ugh.

By far the worst Business card I have ever used, unpredictable spending limits ... can't rely on this card for business purchases ... embarrassing when it surprises you and gets declined

The "no preset spending limit" is a joke and should be removed from advertising. Most frustrating card I've ever tried to use. Not the card for a business that makes large purchases, even if the balance is paid off weekly/daily. The cash back is great but they limit their exposure by declining charges even when carrying a negative balance. Very frustrating! Customer services response is always "just keep using it and it will adjust to your spending needs". How is that possible when charges are declined?

BUSINESS OWNERS BEWARE: 1 day delay in payment for 1 card led Cap One to shut down cards for both of my corps. Both are C-corps. They are totally separate legal entities. Even though I immediately corrected the overdraft, Capital One said it would take a few days to process the payment and would not reactivate the cards for either company until that time.
When I expressed my displeasure, the Capital One supervisor on the recorded call said she would not provide me a copy of the recording to forward to the Hawaii and Delaware attorneys general on behalf of each of my companies. When I then said that I would begin recording, the supervisor said that she would not consent to my recording of the call. I have the time and date date of the call and the ID # of the rep and am now filing a complaint with the attorneys general for each respective company. Access to credit shut down for 5 days. Two totally unrelated legal entities. I am now wasting my day fielding calls from vendors telling me that my credit card payment has been rejected. This should NEVER happen.

It is absolutely impossible to get help. It is impossible to be able to see my account online because I will not give my cell phone number - as I am sure this company sells cell numbers to companies who robo or spam call you. My home phone number is given, and there is supposedly an option to be able to view my account online, but it never, ever works. They want to force you to give them your cell number so that they can make money on selling info, in addition to charging over 20% interest. I have NO way to view transactions at all. Maddening - after hours and hours, several times, on the phone and on the computer trying to simply view my statements and transactions. I can't use a business card, from which I need to be able to report transactions for tax purposes! I'll just have to find another company that is more cooperative. I don't like unsolicited calls and texts on my cell phone - and have successfully avoided that by always giving my landline number as my contact number for every other company... but this one seems to be concerned about NOT generating more income by invading my privacy. They have given me a ONE time code (by phone) that they say will allow me to access my account twice - and it never works. The option to get a call via my landline with an access code, and that does not work either. Seems super-scammy.

Terrible customer service. Rude and unreasonable. I've had this card for a few years now, but if you have a one time problem, don't expect any help from Capital One.

Capital One is a disonest company. Their customer service for this card is worse than the DMV. I have a near perfect credit score, owned other capital one cards for 10+ years, always paid off on time, never had an issue prior but this card and Capital One customer service is a nightmare and they don't give an 'f' to resolve issues. I have no specific spending limit on my card but I can't even make a 2k purchase. Their so called 'algorithm' prevents me from making the purchases. When I call them and ask them to fix this issue, they openly claim that they don't give an 'f'. I told them that I have to switch to Chase or Citi since my card is practically unusable. Their response is 'go ahead'. What has happened to Capital One? I'm NEVER GOING TO USE CAPITAL ONE services for anything anymore. I'm done. I'll recommend every friend and family member I know to stay away from this horrible company who don't give an 'f' about small businesses.

Here's one for the ages. I have used the Sparks Capital One 2% Cash Back card for years. At the end of the year I clicked REDEEM FOR CASH requesting $6,800+ I had earned. Instead of sending me a check it read I had a $6,800 credit in my account. I called immediately only to be told that there is NO REDEEM FOR CASH OPTION ON THEIR APP although it clearly READS EXACTLY THAT. Since my balance is ZERO I requested politely Capital One send me my money. I was told that they would escalate my case to a supervisor and let me know their decision in 5 business days. This is no way to run a reputable business.

We have been a customer for over 10 years. Their customer service recently changed. (HORRIBLE) . They restricted our acct. once to verify we are a business. Gave them info requested. A month latter they restricted again for the same reason. Now they want tax returns? and a month to be unrestricted. We are closing both of our business accounts with them. I think that is what they want. They should stop spending $ on adds.
