Chase Bank issues the Amazon Prime Visa credit card. The Prime Visa card is a good rewards credit card that offers 1 - 5% cash rewards on purchases. Additionally, cardholders receive a $250 Amazon gift card instantly upon approval. The Prime Visa card has a $0 annual fee.
Keep in mind that the Prime Visa card requires at least good credit, along with an Amazon Prime membership to be eligible. If you’re not a Prime member, it’s only possible to get the non-Prime version, known as the Amazon Credit Card. This card, also issued by Chase, has the same credit score requirement as the Prime Visa.
It's worth noting that the Prime Visa credit card also has a store card version. The Prime Amazon Store Card is issued by Synchrony Bank. While the Prime Visa card can be used anywhere Visa is accepted, Prime Amazon Store Card holders can only use their card for purchases at Amazon and its affiliates.

You cannot check for Amazon Credit Card pre-approval. Chase does not offer pre-approval for this card through its website, so anyone interested in applying for Amazon Credit Card will have to do so without the benefit of checking for pre-approval beforehand.

No, you don’t need Amazon Prime to get the Amazon Store Card. With an Amazon Prime membership, though, you will benefit from the card’s extensive rewards. More specifically, Prime members earn 5% back in rewards on all purchases made with the Amazon Store Card.
If you don't have Prime membership, you won't get any rewards on purchases with the Amazon Store Card. You will only get the card's signup offer of $60 upon the approval of your credit card application.
