The Petal® 2 Visa® Credit Card is one of the easiest credit cards to get with fair credit because you could get approved even with limited credit history. It also has a $0 annual fee and rewards you with 1 - 1.5% cash back on purchases.
Easy Credit Cards to Get with Fair Credit
- Overall: Petal® 2 Visa® Credit Card
- Cash Rewards: Capital One QuicksilverOne Cash Rewards Credit Card
- Credit Building: Capital One Platinum Credit Card
- Secured Card: Bank of America® Unlimited Cash Rewards Secured Credit Card
- No Credit Check: opensky® Plus Secured Visa® Credit Card
- No Deposit: OneMain Financial BrightWay® Card
In general, the easiest type of credit card to get is a secured card or an unsecured card for bad credit or no credit. There are plenty of credit cards that require fair credit at a minimum, but if easy approval is what you’re after, you’ll want to exceed the card’s requirements rather than just meet them. Checking for pre-approval will give you a good idea of which credit cards will be easiest to get with a fair credit score.
Ultimately, it’s not hard to find easy credit cards to get with fair credit – even ones with rewards. But it is hard to find worthwhile 0% intro APRs on cards for fair credit. So, it’s probably best to pay off your balance in full each month. Plus, if you consistently pay on time, you should see your credit score start moving up toward the good credit range.

The easiest card for fair credit is probably a starter card like Cap 1 Platinum / QuicksilverOne, or one of the Petal cards. So aim for a card that accepts limited / no credit.

Try Citi Double Cash. It’s maybe not the easiest, but you can get it with fair credit, and it’s really good. Try to get preapproved first if that makes you feel better.

I like the Capital One QuicksilverOne credit card. It's got great cash back rewards, 1.5% on all purchases. It does have an annual fee, but it's only $39.
So as long as you spend a few grand a year and pay it off on time, you’re saving, right?

Pretty much all store cards are easy to get with fair credit.
