My first visit was with John Daniels. My second visit was with Richard Fuller. John is new to the Punta Gorda branch, and he did exceptionally well. He is very good at explaining things to help you understand better. Richard helped me with getting the Active Cash WF card and completed the application with me. Both were very patient with me, and Wells Fargo is lucky to have them on board. Thank you, and stay warm!

My father is 89 years old; he has two checking accounts and a savings account with Wells Fargo. He keeps the majority of his money in his savings account because he feels it is more secure, and if a hacker tried to scam him, flags would come up quicker than with a busy checking account. However, his account was compromised. In a seven-day period, a hacker made ten Zelle transfers out of the savings account, totaling $7,500 in increments ranging from $477 to $2,850. I spotted the activity on the seventh day and had the account locked. Despite this, Wells Fargo never flagged the account or locked it for him. Now, Wells Fargo has denied the fraud claim because they can’t identify any indicators of fraudulent activity.

I have banked with this local Wells Fargo for years, but I am forced to leave because the corporate culture has become morally bankrupt. Recently, I filed a dispute regarding a transaction with a vendor proven to be operating illegally. While the local branch staff may be polite, the Corporate Executive Office admitted the merchant was illegitimate but refused to resolve it, hiding behind a 119-day procedural technicality.
It is a shame that this branch represents a company that prioritizes calendar rules over protecting its long-term customers from scam artists. I am moving my accounts elsewhere because I no longer feel my money is safe with this institution.

The Wells Fargo Rewards card is my oldest credit card, originally opened all the way back in 1995 and later product-changed to this card in 2008, which makes it incredibly special to me. I like this card very much because it holds significant value to my heart; it was my very first credit card account, and that alone makes it irreplaceable. I've been a Wells Fargo customer for about 30 years, and even though this card is no longer available, it's still a great card and a reminder of where my credit journey began. No matter how many newer cards I have, this one will always mean something to me.

Horrible customer service. Can't get past the automated AI phone service. Have called about 10 times trying to get someone to redeem the cash rewards; keep getting put on hold with no indication that I will ever be served; no wait music, no encouraging "hang in there." When I tell them (AI robot) I want reward redemption, they transfer me to nowhere. Totally frustrating. The CEO makes plenty; try hiring some employees. Will clear the account and cancel as soon as possible.

The Wells Fargo Cash Wise card has been one of my favorites since I opened it back in 2016, and I've been a Wells Fargo customer for over 30 years. The flat 1.5% cash back is solid and reliable, and even though this card is no longer available and there are newer options like the Wells Fargo Active Cash with better rewards, the Cash Wise still holds a special place for me. I currently have about 10 cards opened with Wells Fargo, and this card really reminds me of the good old Chase Freedom Unlimited simple, dependable, and great for everyday spending. Overall, Wells Fargo is one of my favorite banks, and this card reflects why I've stayed loyal for so many years.

The Wells Fargo Active Cash Card has been my favorite credit card since I opened it in 2021, and as a Wells Fargo customer for over 30 years, I've been very satisfied with it. The unlimited 2% cash back on every purchase is simple and reliable, with no rotating categories or caps to worry about, making it perfect for everyday spending. There's no annual fee, rewards are easy to redeem, and everything is well integrated into the Wells Fargo app. This card is an excellent option for beginners because it's straightforward and helps build good credit habits, while still being valuable long term. I would definitely recommend this card to anyone looking for a strong, hassle-free cash back card.
I've had an awful experience with Bilt support. For days I've been stuck in the same loop: every agent tells me they need to "escalate" my request and that I'll receive an email update — but the email never comes. I've spoken to multiple agents, waited hours, and nothing gets resolved. All I'm trying to do is cancel/close the new Bilt Mastercard 2.0 (the approved Blue account) because it no longer works the way it did for my main use case (rent). The lack of follow-through, delays, and constant handoffs are unacceptable. Also, if this is how your support handles something as simple as closing an account, I can only imagine what the Bilt 2.0 experience will be like — and I want no part of it. I would not recommend this to anyone who values responsive customer service.

This is a really good card if you can get it. It offers a higher credit amount than other starter cards like Capital One and Discover, and provides 21 months of no interest on transfers and purchases. So, if you have high-interest cards that you want to pay down within 21 months, it's one of the best options.

This is the worst bank. I've been depositing up to $450,000 a year for two years, and they still haven't approved me for a simple credit card. This has disappointed me, so I will proceed to close my account and I will not recommend them.

This Wells Fargo bank is the worst and most dishonest. I've had problems with them many times. They manipulate money however they want, holding it for two weeks without any reason; they can't explain why they're holding the money.
This bank is very disappointing, and the customer service is lacking. It's very difficult to get through to them, and they don't help with anything. After 15 years with them, I'm leaving them.
