Teller says, cash will be available the next day. Nope. Holding for two weeks. No funds available.
If a bank cannot handle the deposit of a cashiers check, do business elsewhere. Bank of America is not in any way deserving of your hard earned dollars. In this case a check that is certified and forever have been considered cash in hand. I guess not. I have personal checks deposited that will clear faster. No more.
Pathetic. And to think our family was considering putting substantial amounts of money in for college funds and trusts, forget about it. Bank of America, OFF THE LIST. Would be ZERO stars if possible.

Great, couldn’t be happier.

Bank of America Q&A (720 questions)
How do I check my Bank of America credit card status?

You can check your Bank of America credit card status online. Unfortunately, there is no Bank of America credit card status phone number. If you select “check application status” on their phone menu, you'll just hear a message that tells you to wait up to 30 days for approval and check your status online. But if you have trouble checking online, you could try to call customer service at 1 (800) 732-9194.
In order to see whether your application is approved, denied or still pending, you'll need to give some basic personal information like your zip code and the last four digits of your Social Security number. This ensures that Bank of America can match you to your application. You can check your application status as often as you like, as it's free and quick.
How to check your Bank of America credit card status:
- Go to Bank of America's application status page.
- Enter your last name, date of birth, last four digits of your Social Security number and zip code.
- Click “Submit.”
You'll now be able to see any applications you've submitted and whether they have been approved or denied yet. If your application is still pending, don't worry. It may take up to 30 days from when you submitted your application to receive a decision. If you are approved, you can expect your card in 7-10 business days. But if you're denied and think you can justify why you should be approved, you can call customer service and ask for reconsideration.
How do I set a Bank of America travel notice?

A Bank of America travel notice makes sure BofA isn't surprised when they see credit or debit card purchases originating from an unusual area, such as another state or country. Without a travel notice, they might flag those transactions as fraudulent and put a hold on your account until they find out for sure. It's not mandatory to set a Bank of America travel notice, but it's a good idea. You can do it online, in the Bank of America app, or by phone (1-800-432-1000).
Here's how to set a Bank of America travel notice:
- Log in to your Bank of America online account.
- Click on the “Help & Support” tab.
- Click “Set Travel Notice.”
- Enter your destinations and travel dates.
- Select which BofA cards you will be taking.
- Provide a contact phone number and any additional details you want to mention.
- Submit your notice.
If you'd rather submit your travel notice through the Bank of America app, you can find the option under the card settings menu. And if calling is more convenient for you, you can dial 1-800-432-1000, enter your card number, and then tell the representative you'd like to set a travel notice. This also happens to be the number you should call if you forget to set a travel notice and BofA puts a hold on your account.

Keep in mind, however, that you will need excellent credit to qualify for the BofA Cash Rewards, and you need to be a student to get the limited-credit version.
Are there any good Bank of America credit card promotions right now?

I HAVE BEEN A BOA CUSTOMER FOR 3 YEARS NOW AND NOT ONCE HAS BOA OFFERED ME CREDIT CARD OR REWARDS. AFTER 2 YEARS OF BEING A PROMINENT CUSTOMER. I THEN APPLY FOR A CREDIT CARD AT A BOA BRANCH AND I WAS DENIED AND I OWN NO CREDIT CARDS. THIS BANK HAS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATION OR THIS COMPANY CATEGORIZES CUSTOMERS BY ZIP CODES AND WHERE THEY LIVE. IT MAKES NO SENSE TO BE A LOYAL CUSTOMER AND GAIN ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FROM THE COMPANY! BOA NEEDS TO TAKE CUSTOMER SERVICE CERTIFICATION CLASSES TO EDUCATE OR JUST CHANGE POLICY.
